We know that the beautiful (and powerful) HTC Thunderbolt smartphone has been delayed once or twice till now, but the reason was a mystery till recently. It appears that the battery life of the handset is to blame for its postponed release. It could be the fault of the LTE connectivity draining up the juice…
Some testers are even claiming that they carry a second phone around as backup and they even had to face 2/3 hours of battery life on the Thunderbolt. An update to the original Engadget scoop with this info says that a new firmware will fix all issues, both with signal and battery life. They appear to be related and the launch should take place ASAP.
