HTC Tiara is a name I’ve certainly heard before, but only as a codename of a device that’s already been launched. Now, a device under this name appears again, but this time the name may stick, at least in USA. In the rest of the world it’ll probably be called HTC 8T or something like that.
This model has a design similar to the one of HTC One SV and its specs fit it right between the HTC 8S and the HTC 8X. HTC Tiara is said to pack a 4.3 inch Super LCD2 WVGA display, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel rear camera. There’s also a front 1.6 MP shooter and 8 GB of internal storage to take advantage of.
Tiara runs Windows Phone 8 and gets its power from a 1,800 mAh battery, which is a bit of a letdown, since the lower specced Huawei Ascend W1 packs a 1950 mAh unit for example. We have no idea when this model will be released or its price tag, but rumors say we should expect a launch by the end of the month.
