The folks of XDA Developers have done it again, managing to port Android 2.1 on HTC Touch Diamond 2 aka Topaz. The port also includes HTC Sense UI and it’s available on WVGA/VGA devices. You can see it in action on the Touch Diamond 2 in the video below:
Be careful when flashing your Windows Mobile device and stick to the tips provided by the XDA community. What’s not working in this release? The camera/videorecording feature, GPS, while Flash Player 10.1 works, but not smooth enough to allow you to watch movies. At least the GPS and WiFi work OK, plus the radio, GPRS, capacitive buttons and G sensor.
