HTC Touch Diamond has just received an award for “Best Handset of 2008” during the “Comunicatii Mobile” Awards in Romania, together with Microsoft and Vodafone.
The winners were decided with the aid of a jury and public voting on the “Comunicatii Mobile” magazine’s website. Tomasz Lesniak, HTC Eastern Europe Area Manager said that HTC is very happy to receive this award, their first in Romania and a confirmation of the brand’s success in this country.
Touch Diamond is popular specially because of its touchscreen display and TouchFLO 3D interface, which are both easy to use and very good looking. The handset also supports HSDPA connectivity, for fast web browsing and uses Windows Mobile 6.1 in order to offer a notebook-like experience.
The “Comunicatii Mobile” magazine organized the fifth edition of the awards at the Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel in Bucharest.
