HTC Touch Diamond2 is one of the hottest handsets right now, as shown by the phone’s latest reviews and GSMArena recently shared its take on the very promising smartphone, through a 10 page review.

We’re not dealing with a superficial analysis of the design and features, as GSMArena go as deep as covering the frequency response of the audio chip and Windows Mobile Advanced Configuration.

Touch Diamond2 is very appreciated for its high resolution screen, the great sound quality, good camera and TouchFlo 3D upgrade. Touch-optimization is also praised, as it seems that HTC “sweep Windows Mobile under the rug” each time, through an even better interface. Also, the reviewers of GSMArena place Diamond2 somewhere between the first Diamond and Touch HD, since it’s not yet ready for a Diamond versus Diamond2 duel.

From this review, we also learn that Touch Diamond2 brings forth the hardware of Touch HD in a smaller package, but sadly there’s no 3.5mm audio jack on this device. Another downside could be the lack of the D-pad present on the first Diamond and (for some) the lack of the faceted rear side, a design choice that’s not so bad, if you ask me.

If we’ve got you excited, here’s the full review, but grab some popcorn and soda, ’cause this is going to take a while to read.
