HTC is getting ready to launch its new smartphone, Touch Diamond2 on the Taiwan market, in the following weeks. The device will be available in the second half of April for $647 and it’ll run Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, upgradable to version 6.5.

On board you’ll also find 512MB ROM, 288MB RAM, a 528 MHz Qualcomm CPU and a 3.2 inch widescreen VGA display. Touch Diamond2 is only 13.7 mm thick and it packs a 5 megapixel autofocus camera among its specs.
