Rumored a while ago, HTC Ville is back in the news, this time also sporting a picture to accompany the info. BGR claims that this is a dual core 1.5GHz Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone, that has an unique feature: an incredibly thin waistline, at least for A HTC. Supposedly, this is the thinnest HTC phone ever.

HTC Ville is expected to go below the 8mm mark and it should come with a Snapdragon Series 4 processor, a 4.3 inch qHD display (Super AMOLED) and the usual 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture. This sounds very much like a HTC Sensation XE to me, but one with a thinner waistline. Also, Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 is a nice addition, if the info is true.

To make things more clear, this handset with a less than 8mm waistline is pretty slim when compared to the likes of the iPhone 4S (9.3mm thick) and even the Samsung Galaxy S II (8.49mm). Rumors say that the product will ship next April and that it will be officially unveiled during Mobile World Congress 2012 in the middle of February.
