Huawei is preparing to unveil the thinnest smartphone in the world, the P6-U06 model and now we have some shots of a model called the P6. This is a prototype that reminds me of a longer and thinner iPhone 5. Keep in mind that these pics are not confirmed to be 100% real.
This model is supposed to be just 6.18 mm thick, weigh 120 grams, run Android 4.1.2 and feature a 4.7 inch TFT display with 720p resolution. Inside there should be a quad core 1.5 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and a CMOS digital camera with 5 MP resolution. Inside there are 32 GB of storage and back to the design, the suspicious aspect is the antenna dent on the side of the device, like on the iPhone.
The bezel at the bottom of the Huawei Ascend P6 looks a bit too big, so it may feature capacitive buttons. We have no idea what other features this model will bring, but we look forward to seeing such a thin device, although there are already rumors about 5 mm thick handsets…
