Huawei debuted a new handset this week and no, it’s not another Honor model meant for Europe. Instead it’s an Enjoy series smartphone, the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus, that has a big screen and a beefy battery.

This device’s screen can only be considered “big”, judging by previous Enjoy series releases, that had 5 inch displays. The Enjoy 7 Plus opts for a 5.5 inch screen, but also offers a 720p resolution. We’ve got a 4000 mAh battery in the mix and a Snapdragon 435 processor on board, as well as 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. A 12 MP camera rests at the back, above the fingerprint scanner, while selfies are taken with an 8 MP shooter.

Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus will debut in China with Android 7.0 Nougat in tow, priced at around $230. While official sources don’t mention it, this model should have a metal case and it seems like a pretty rounded one. Availability comes in white, silver or gold. It feels a bit like an affordable rival for the Nokia 6 to me.
