The Huawei Honor 5X was a very solid phone, when we reviewed it this Spring and now it gets a follow-up, as the Huawei Honor 6X just got announced. The device brings the dual camera phone into the affordable segment and sports a good looking unibody metal case.
It’s priced starting at $148, an excellent deal for a Full HD dual camera handset. This is a 5.5 incher, available in gold, silver, grey, blue or rose gold, starting with October 25 (China first). It has a pretty looking 2.5D curved glass panel upfront and measures 8.2 mm in thickness, while weighing a pretty light 162 grams.

There’s also a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage unit, priced at $237. The dual camera includes a 12 MP sensor with PDAF and a secondary 2 MP shooter for depth of field and background blur.
