Huawei is getting ready to provide an offspring for the Honor 7 model, namely the Huawei Honor 8. The interesting bit about this model’s rumored debut is that it’ll come with a dual camera.
It’s said to be announced on July 5th and it’s expected to go on sale from July 12. Huawei Honor 8 is said to be the best looking phone that Huawei has ever produced and it’s also said to offer a dual glass design, a metal body and slim bezels. Rumors also mention dual 12 MP back cameras, a setup similar to the one of the Honor V8 and of course the Huawei P9.
There’s also talk of a 5.2 inch Full HD screen, a 3200 mAh battery with fast charging and an infrared port. A fingerprint scanner, 4 GB of RAM and an USB Type C round up the specs list. The CPU is probably a Kirin 955. Interestingly, this model is expected to come in 4 versions, including one with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage that lacks NFC, priced at $308, plus another with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage and full network support at $334 and one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage at $380.
There will also be a top of the range model, with a Quad HD screen, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, priced at $425.
