Huawei is preparing yet another glass and metal handset with a dual camera at the back, the Honor 9 this time. The device was previously certified by TENAA and now it’s confirmed for a June 12th debut, via the press invite below.

Know that it doesn’t come from Huawei this image, so it may be faked. Also, we previously heard that the Honor 9 was coming on June 20 or June 21st, so we take the info with a grain of salt. Supposed to debut in Shanghai, the smartphone was previously considered closer to a Honor 8s, than a really new Honor 9. It’ll surely be a dual camera device, said to have a 20 MP and 12 MP sensor combo at the back, plus a glass panel (2.5D) at both the front and back side.

The Shanghai International Conference Center will host its debut and some say we may not see an audio jack in the mix here. We’re expecting a 5.15 inch Full HD screen, a Kirin 960 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There should also be an 8 MP front camera in the mix and some new colors, like a light blue or a really vivid yellow. Odds are that the dual camera isn’t using Leica tech.
