Another device that recently arrived at FCC, is also the Huawei Honor Play 5X, a great mid-range phablet. This certification reveals the fact that Huawei plans to introduce it on the US market too. In the same time we get to know what specs we’re getting in the package.

Well, Huawei Honor Play 5X arrives with a 5.5 inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels), with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz + an Adreno 405 GPU. We have a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie captures.

The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back, right under the camera shooter. Apparently, we’ll be getting two variants, one with 2 GB of RAM, and another with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB space of internal storage. A microSD card slot and a 3000 mAh battery will be in the package. Huawei Honor Play 5X seems to run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
