Huawei Mate 8 has been leaking steadily, ever since the HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor was announced, as if to signal its approaching launch. Today we see one more batch of leaks, this time through some renders of the device.
Last we saw it, the device appeared in a protective case, that still managed to confirm some details from its design. The metal shell of the newcomer is confirmed today, together with details like the dual speaker grilles at the bottom, slim chassis, fingerprint scanner and color versions. There’s a dual LED flash at the back and I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ll also be getting a front flash, like on the Huawei Mate S.
The bezels are incredibly slim here, leading us to believe this will be an edge to edge smartphone. The top and bottom bezels are also very slim, a nice surprise considering the current trends. Colors shown here are supposed to be grey, gold and copper. Huawei Mate 8 is expected to come with a 6 inch Full HD display, a Kirin 950 processor, 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage, as well as a main 16 megapixel back camera and a front 8 MP shooter.
