The Huawei Mate 8 is said to be coming in the next weeks, as a brand new flagship phablet for Huawei. In the meantime we have some spy shots, accompanied by specs for this newcomer.
What we’re seeing here is a model with narrow bezels and rounded back, plus an unibody metal design. The device packs a fingerprint scanner, a HiSilicon Kirin 930 CPU and a Quad HD screen with a big diagonal. At the back there’s a 20.7 MP camera with Sony IMX220 sensor. Rumors also talk about a special sound chamber on the device and high end acoustic options.
Also, it should have LTE Category 6 and a large capacity battery. The front camera should also sit at 8 megapixels, judging by industry standards. I expect the RAM quantity to be 3 or 4 GB and storage to be 16, 32 or 64 GB. What do you think of the Mate 8?
