After seeing the LG Nexus 2015 handset this week, the very same source of the leaked renders gives us the Huawei Nexus 2015, in equally detailed shots. The design is also not that different from the LG unit and we’re expecting this model to come around October or November.
The leak comes from uSwitch and @OnLeaks and it’s based on detailed blueprints of the device, sent out to third party accessory makers ahead of the device’s release. The smartphone packs a fingerprint scanner at the back, below the rear camera, as well as dual speakers upfront and an USB Type C port at the bottom. We’ve got a 5.7 inch display upfront according to previous leaks and the thickness is at 6.6 to 8.5 mm, so the device is probably curved.
Rumors say that Google and Huawei are also testing a 5.5 inch version of the phone, but no matter what the diagonal is, the resolution will still be Quad HD. uSwitch also says that the color of the handset is pure speculation, so the dual tone approach is guess work. The back totally feels like an iPhone or Huawei model in my book and the fingerprint scanner is much more discrete than the one of the LG Nexus 2015, as well as the back camera. A Snapdragon 820 CPU and 4 GB of RAM should also be on board, as well as a 20+ megapixel camera.
