The Huawei P9 keeps leaking these days and after seeing some hands on shots of the model, it’s time to have a look at some renders. These 3D renders look as official as it gets and the handset is getting ready for an April debut.
Just like we knew before, it’s going to have 4 versions and a dual back camera. There’s a metal chassis shown here, a pretty slim one, with chamfered edges. The dual camera sits at the top of the back, but somehow I don’t see any laser focus mechanism, which was also rumored. We get a fingerprint scanner and the general format feels reminiscent to the Mate S and Mate 8, plus the P8 a bit.
This model recently reached the FCC and it’s said to come in a Snapdragon 650 + 2 GB RAM version, as well as 16 GB of storage. That will be the basic model, followed by one with a Kirin 950 CPU and 3 GB of RAM, as well as 32 GB of storage. Then come the bigshots: two models with Kirin 955 processors, 4 GB of RAM and either a smaller screen or a 6 inch Quad HD one (Huawei P9 Max).
The dual camera stays the same on all of them, at least for now.
