Even if Huawei P9 Lite was leaked many times in the past few weeks, the Chinese company hasn’t announced the new device yet for unknown reasons. However, today we get to see some new press pictures with this upcoming product, and this happens thanks to a Dutch retailer that just listed the P9 Lite on sale for a $359 price tag that sounds pretty good.
We get to know that P9 Lite will be available at the end of April in three different color variations like white, black and rose gold. We’ll have here just a single camera and not a dual-sensor as on the flagship model, but in spite of this detail, the phone keeps the familiar design.
Unfortunately we don’t have information regarding the materials used by Huawei while developing the case for this product, but we suppose that P9 Lite comes with a metallic frame and a polycarbonate back cover that uses a brushed aluminium texture. This phone comes with a fingerprint scanner, and with a microUSB v2.0 port (now USB Type-C as on the P9).
Getting so specs, it looks like the P9 Lite will offer a 5.2-inch Full HD display, an octa-core Kirin 650 processor, 2 or 3 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB space of internal storage + microSD card slot. There’s a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing sensor. It remains to see when Huawei plans to announce this phone, and how good it performs in real life.
