A new entry level model from Huawei has been detailed today, via a leak. We’re talking about the Huawei Y6 Scale unit, that’s pictured and specced below. This model will be priced at around 150 euros and it will go against the Moto E and Moto G from Motorola.
Y6 will have a 5 inch IPS HD display, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad core inside and 1 GB of RAM. 8 GB of storage are also available here, plus a microSD card slot, an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and a 2 MP front camera. For those of you wondering, the new Snapdragon 210 chipset is a quad core 1.1 GHz 64 bit unit, with Cortex A7 cores.
It brings an integrated LTE modem and it will also be included on future Microsoft Lumia phones. Back to the Huawei Y6, the device brings Bluetooth 4.0, a 2200 mAh battery and WiFi, as well as quad band GSM. All of that will fit within an 8.3 mm thick device, with a plastic case and Android buttons below the display. The OS will be Android 5.0 Lollipop with Huawei’s Emotion UI on top.
