Hyundai plans to increase its popularity in the UK, by announcing the launch of 10-15 mobile devices this year. Following the company’s success in Hungary, Slovenia and Germany, Hyundai Mobile UK plans to reach a market share of 3-5% in the next 5 years.

Hyundai handsets will use the great image of the brand, one of the 5 greatest car manufacturers in the world. Also, the company is number 72 globally, as far as brand value goes, according to Norbert Winkler, Hyundai Mobile Europe CEO.

The UK branch officials claim that the company will focus in innovations and niche products in order to conquer the market. Among the phones launched in 2009 we’ll see Windows Mobile business handsets, that’ll reach the market in the first half of this year.
