We know that Motorola is hosting a press event in New Delhi on Friday, where it will unveil the new Moto G model, together with more devices. We’re expecting the Moto X+1 there, as well as the commercial release of the Moto 360 and an accessory or two. Last we heard, Flipkart was the exclusive retailer for the new Moto G, but we can’t guarantee this will stay the same. It’s supposed that 70,000 units of the phone have reached India and more are coming.

Rumors say that the handset packs a 720p 5 inch display, a Snapdragon 400 quad core CPU, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. There should also be a microSD card slot on board, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 2 MP front shooter and Android 4.4.4 as the OS. The phone will be released in two color options and India will also get a dual SIM version of it.
