Intex Technologies debuted in India today the Aqua Super smartphone, with a very appealing price tag of $156. This handset stands out through midrange specs and part of them are actually closer to high end, it appears.

This model has 3 GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity available, plus a 5 inch HD IPS display. Inside we find a 64 bit quad core 1 GHz MediaTek MT6735P chipset, running Android 5.1 Lollipop. An 8 megapixel back camera and 2 MP front shooter complete the list, together with dual SIM slots. Intex Aqua Super also arrives with 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, FM radio and a 2150 mAh battery.

It measures 7.65 mm in thickness, weighs 130 grams and has HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It will come in grey, black, white, champagne and Intex provides a 1 year screen breakage warranty bundled with the product.
