Intex has debuted in India the new Aqua Star II phone, that’s priced below $100 and comes with a quad core Spreadtrum processor. This model runs Android 4.4.2 and it’s priced at $96.

It was launched just days after the Aqua Star L model and it features a 5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution. Inside we find a quad core Spreadtrum SC7731 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. There’s also an 8 megapixel back camera in the mix, a microSD card slot, dual SIM slots and a 5 MP selfie camera.

Intex Aqua Star II also brings a 2000 mAh battery, 3G, FM radio and the usual connectivity options. The product will be available in black, blue, white and gray and it will go on sale over the next days, competing in the midrange segment with ASUS ZenFone C or Moto E.
