The screenshots below have reached the web courtesy of a Twitter leak coming from @ChronicWire, that points towards the inclusion of Nuance speech recognition in iOS. No info on the exact version of iOS that will get this feature, but one thing is for sure: speech recognition is coming, perhaps even on iOS 5.

This makes texting while driving disappear, since we’re  going to rely on voice to dictate texts and send them away. The Apple-Nuance partnership has been in the rumors for a while now, even before WWDC 2011 started, however no product made by the two companies together was showcased during the latest Apple event.

Their solution wasn’t ready in time for WWDC 2011, but it might make it to iOS 5, when it launches this Fall. Speech recognition has been available for years now, but never as accurate as we’d have wanted it to be.
