Apple has just announced that it’ll hold an event next Tuesday, in order to preview new iPhone software. On March 17, in Cupertino, California Apple will preview iPhone 3.0 software and provide information regarding the new software kit needed by third party developers.
Right now, the iPhone is a real hit, specially since Apple sold over 13.7 million units last year, surpassing even the most optimistc predictions. Also, the App Store, launched in July 2008 is a great source of income for the company, providing 15.000 apps and having reached the 500 million downloaded apps mark recently.
