According to a mystery component supplier for Apple, the iPhone 5 will be delayed, in comparison with previous launches, a theory we’ve been hearing about for a while now. This time, Business Insider is the one with the scoop and it appears that the device will miss WWDC 2011, that will take place between June 6 and June 10.

Some claim that since production starts in September, we might be seeing the device launched towards the year end or even in early 2012. Apple wouldn’t want to end the year without a new iPhone and the Verizon one is not counting, or the white iPhone 4, to be honest. After all, these might be just rumors and the launch could go ahead as planned…

A quick rumor roundup gives us the iPhone 5 as a handset that packs a 4 inch display, a dual core processor and an 8 megapixel camera.
