It’s time for yet another leak of the iPhone 5, this time with a brand new feature: a set of dual 3D cameras at the back. The info comes from Slashgear, tipped by fishtoon and the site that published the pics is 175wan.com, not at a reliable source, to be honest.
There have been talks about Apple and 3D technology in the same context as far as last year, when the Cupertino giant purchased the company Poly9, familiar with such technologies. Also, in December 2010, Apple patented 3D glasses-free displays and this year in March they also pulled a patent for 3D cameras.
As usual, we recommend that you take the images with caution, since they’re not from an official source or anything. This is actually the first time we see the back of an iPhone with the “5” marking on it and dual cameras, but it could still be a sticker… The source of the photos is placed in Shenzhen, China, according to the original release and supposedly the pics were taken by accident.
This next gen iPhone is supposed to feature a 4 inch display with a tiny bezel around the screen and two back cameras with 3D capability. Real or fake?
