The IUNI U3 is yet another one of those promising smartphones coming from Asia, one that has high end specs and a decent price. This model has somehow arrived to Italy, where it’s been handled by the folks of hdblog.it, as shown below.
The product had debuted on the Chinese market in August, featuring an interesting 4 Ultrapixel front facing camera. The U3 is a 5.5 inch phablet with a Quad HD resolution and a Sharp screen panel. Inside there’s a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU, as well as 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. At the back we find a 13 megapixel camera with a Sony sensor and there’s F/2.0 aperture, as well as optical image stabilization.
LTE connectivity is also available here and here’s also a Full HD video sample included in the article, that feels a bit too light on the focus part. Pictures look pretty good, to be honest and the handset’s design format somehow makes me think of the HTC 8X for some reason. I see the UI is also tweaked, covering up Android 4.4 with a very flat and good looking layer of software. I can’t wait to see what the front camera can do!
