And yet another phone from India appears today, once again priced below $150. The newcomer arrives from familiar brand Lava and it’s dubbed Iris 460. It includes some midrange specs, Android 4.4 KitKat and it got listed on the company’s official site this week.
The newcomer is priced at just $133 and it’s part of a series of devices that run KitKat. Lava Iris 460 relies on a screen with OGS tech, a 1.3 GHz dual core processor, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. There’s also a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera in the mix, by the way. This one is a dual SIM model, with 3G connectivity and a leather-like back cover, that has been used by the likes of Samsung for a while now.
Lava Iris 460 incorporates a 4.5 inch 850 x 480 pixel display, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and offers support for GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and HSPA+. It measures 8.75 mm in thickness, has FM radio and a 1650 mAh battery. It will be available in black and grey and I expect more similar models to come soon from Lava.
