Lava and Micromax are two of the biggest Indian phone makers and today the first of them welcomes a new model. It’s the Lava Iris 550Q and it’s pictured below. We’re dealing with a 5.5 incher here with an IPS panel.
This phablet supports a 720p resolution and inside it has a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, as well as 1 GB of RAM. The Iris 550Q comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and gets bundled with a flip cover for free. Other specs include 4 GB of storage, a microSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB and an 8 MP back camera.
The cam has a BSI sensor and can record Full HD video, while under the hood we find a 2600 mAh battery. The company claims that this battery offers up to 10 hours of 2G talk time. Lava released the 550Q in India today, priced at $217, on major online stores all over the nation.
