On the Indian market is currently a pretty busy month with launches over launches. Today, Lava has just announced the Iris X1 Selfie, a phone that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. As its name suggest, we’re looking at a phone with selfie features that brings a 5-megapixel front-facing camera accompanied by a LED flash for better low-light pictures.

The phone offers a 4.5 inch IPS FWVGA display (854 x 480 pixels), a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash (F/2.0 aperture, Gorilla Glass 3 Cover lens), and a 2.000 mAh battery. We get 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB space of internal storage + microSD up to 32 GB and 3G HSPA+ connectivity.

Iris X1 Selfie is a dual-SIM phone that also packs WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. This phone weighs around 140 grams and measures 133.5 mm in length, 66 mm in width, and just 8.5 mm in thickness. Its price is set at $105.
