This year it seems that the Pixel name is a pretty popular one, name applied for a movie, and now for a phone that comes from India. We’re talking about the Lava Pixel V1, the 2nd Android One device of the company. As you already know, Lava is well known for its low-priced phones sold across the country.
Even if the first generation of Android Phone devices didn’t looked very good in terms of design, it seems that now things are changing once with the launch of Lava Pixel V1. From the picture above you could not notice the fact that this device is really a good looking one, phone that brings a front-facing panel with slim bezels and a pretty interesting color combination.
When it comes to hardware, Lava brings on a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display (1280 x 720 pixels), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM memory, a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing cam.
There’s 3G HSPA+ connectivity, dual-SIM support, a microSD card slot up to 32 GB, but also a 2.650 mAh removable battery. This phone will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop from factory, and its price will be around $177, not so bad after all.
