Indian phone maker Lava has started teasing a new handset, one that features a front LED flash and focuses on selfie features. This concept has been applied by many companies lately, since even Sony launched a selfie phone with a front flash, dubbed Xperia C3.
Karbonn also debuted the Titanium S19, that it advertises as a selfie smartphone, since it packs a 5 MP front shooter. Meanwhile, the new Lava model above is said to have a wide angle lens, front flash and probably at least a 3 MP front sensor, if not a 5 MP one. Details are very scarce about this phone right now, aside from a potential price below 120 euros, a 5 inch display and Android 4.4 KitKat preinstalled.
This handset could be the Lava Iris X5, that was recently spotted on the database website Zauba (import/export company). Speculations say that this is the model teased by Lava and this smartphone comes with 8 GB of internal storage and dual SIM slots. Is the selfie thing getting out of hand? Can’t we live without posting our faces everywhere on the web?
