Here we are again this time with a LeEco handset and the very first model with 6 GB of RAM on board. The last time we tested a device from this company, it was still called LeTV, but now it’s clearly LeEco. This model doesn’t only stand out through RAM, but also the lack of audio jack. You can find it on Amazon priced at around $409 or so.
That price applies to the 4 GB RAM version, but there’s also a 6 GB RAM one, the one we test here. Inside this smartphone’s box we find the manual, metal key for the slots, charger, USB Type C cable and an adapter USB Type C to audio jack 3.5 mm. Le Max 2 has an elegant box and our version comes in pink gold, looking very stylish.
This is a 5.7 inch Quad HD phablet, with a Snapdragon 820 CPU inside, as well as 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There’s no microSD card slot here and we find a 21 megapixel back camera, plus an 8 MP front shooter. This model measures 8 mm in thickness, weighs 185 grams and has 24 bit acoustics, as well as Dolby Atmos tech on board.
There’s an USB type C port at the bottom, flanked by two speakers and we’ve got a fingerprint scanner here with Qualcomm ultrasonic tech. Le Max 2 has a 3100 mAh battery, with quick charging. It sounds like a very high end phone and we look forward to test it with gaming and hardcore multitasking. You can find it updated price here.
