We got wind of the Lenovo P70 announcement a few hours ago and we were pleasantly surprised by its design and huge 4000 mAh battery. Now the phone is back, this time with official renders, not those hands on shots from China.

Also, the original $220 price tag has been modified a bit, since the device is going to cost around $300 in Europe. Russian sites have begun detailing the product and Eastern Europe is one of the first markets for the handset. It’s a 5 inch model with a HD resolution, LTE connectivity and Android 4.4 KitKat with a rather new and good looking skin on top.

The phone integrates an octa core MediaTek processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz and uses 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. It measures 8.9 mm in thickness and weighs 149 grams, plus it comes with a main 13 MP back camera and a front 5 MP shooter. Its selling point is clearly the battery, a 4000 mAh unit, that offers 34 days of standby or 46 hours of talk time, both impressive.

The design of the unit is not that shabby either…
