A few moments ago on the Chinese platform Weibo, Lenovo posted a teaser that makes reference to a press conference that will take place on May 18th in China. According to this image, the event will take place at 10:00 AM – local Chinese time.
Beside this fact, the teaser shows a bullet travelling at huge speed with the 0.157 seconds quote down below. This detail could suggest something related to a new camera-phone that will offer a higher shutter speed. At the moment, Lenovo has in its portfolio a phone that looks like a camera, more precisely the Vibeshot model that features a 5-inch panel.
This phone brings a 16-megapixel rear shooter (2997 x 5328 pixels) with OIS, autofocus and something new, a triple-LED flash. There’s a 8-megapixel front-facing camera too. It remains to see what Lenovo prepares for next Monday on 18th.
