The famous blinking eye phone, with a price tag around $400, the LG AKA was certified by TENAA this week. This means it’s coming to China pretty soon, hopefully with a more decent price.

The device was also shown at MWC 2015 and launched in Korea quite a while ago. We’re dealing with a midrange phone, that packs an IPS LCD 5 inch screen with a HD resolution, a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and an 8 megapixel back camera. There’s a 2.1 MP shooter upfront, a 2610 mAh battery inside and the device has pretty small screen bezels.

The selling point here are the plastic front covers that will trigger a pair of eyes, with different moods and colors. The eyes can follow you, be crazy, angry, sad or seductive. There are also cute toy characters associated to these personalities, including a sort of cat, bear, a sort of duck and a charming egg of sorts.
