Not wanting to wait anymore till the debut of the MWC 2013 show, LG went ahead and announced the F Series handsets today. I’m talking about the LG Optimus F7 and the F5, both models with 4G LTE and affordable price tags. We’ll see both of them in action in Barcelona starting with the end of this week.

The LG Optimus F5 is a 4G LTE smartphone with a 4.3 inch IPS display, a dual core 1.2 GHz processor and a 2150 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the LG Optimus F7 packs a True HD IPS display with a 4.7 inch diagonal and a dual core 1.5 GHz processor. It also has a larger capacity battery, a 2,540 mAh unit, that ensures its use for a longer period of time. Both models will be available with Android 4.1.2 preinstalled and feature advanced UX functions like upgraded QSlide and Live zooming.

QSlide allows users to open two apps at the same time, both on the full screen. Users can change the size, position and transparency of QSlide apps, according to their preferences. The compatible apps for QSlide include video, web browser, memo, calendar and calculator. You should also know that the LG Optimus F5 features 8 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, 9.3 mm thick chassis, a 5 MP camera and a 1.3 MP front cam. LG Optimus F7 has a 1.5 GHz dual core CPU, a 9.6 mm thick chassis, 8 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM and microSD card slot. There’s also an 8 MP shooter at the back.
