LG G2’s latest update brought it to Android 5.0 Lollipop back in April and now straight out of Korea comes proof that we’re about to get Android 5.1.1 on the appreciated handset of 2013.
One LG employee has apparently confirmed the fact that the handset maker is preparing the update and developing it intensively. We’re supposed to expect LG UX 4.0 to come with this update, which means we’ll get bits and pieces of the LG G4 experience. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the latest iterations of Smart Notice, Smart Bulletin and LG Health here as well.
The South Korean company published the source code of Android 5.0 Lollipop for the LG G2 back at the end of March. Then we learned this Spring that in various countries like Poland or Romania users of the G2 got Lollipop. While things seem to be going fine for the G2, we can’t help but wonder what will happen with the G3 users that experience bugs after updating to Lollipop…
