It appears LG can’t have enough premieres, so after debuting the first 3D phone in the world, the first dual core phone and quad core phone, they also want dibs on the first 3K display phone. They kind of had the first Quad HD Model, only being beaten by Vivo to the premiere.

Anyway, there’s a new mystery model out there, a new LG device with the codename LG-VS999, that’s expected to be the LG G4 on Verizon Wireless. This device appeared in a leaked document and the device is mentioned with a resolution of 1620 x 2880 pixels. LG VS985 was the codename for the Verizon LG G3, so it makes sense that this model would be a successor, judging by the codename.

LG H810 was another codename associated to the LG G4, on AT&T this time and it was seen in an UA Profile recently, but with a Quad HD resolution. Seeing how Quad HD screens didn’t exactly catch on and you won’t hear anyone praising them especially for their crispness, I’d urge LG not to rush to 3K or worse… 4K.
