Last week we’ve heard as a rumor the fact that LG G4 will start receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow pretty soon, and shortly after, LG confirmed this too. Well, today is the lucky day for those in Poland, country where LG G4 is now getting Android 6.0 Marshamallow. Of course, we expect to see this update brought in other regions too pretty soon.
Among the new features brought in Android 6.0 Marshmallow, we can put in the first row, the permissions. Using this feature, we are able to choose what kind of information apps can use. For example, we can stop the Chrome browser from using the GPS location.
As several forums from Poland revealed, LG G4 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board has been already rooted, just as you can see in the video above. The official Marshmallow ROM for LG G4 can be downloaded from here, software developed for those LG G4 devices sold in Poland.
