After mistakenly publishing info regarding the new Viewty phone on its official site, LG showed the world the hot handset, for real. Every feature of the successful Viewty got improved in this follow-up and now we have stuff like a WVGA display and an 8 megapixel camera to toy with.

The camera features ISO 1600 sensitivity, DVD quality video recording and LG GC900 Viewty Smart also comes with the already famous S-Class 3D UI, plus 7.2 Mbps HSDPA support, WiFi, AGPS and 1.5GB internal memory. The latter can be expanded via a microSD card, of up to 32GB.

Surprisingly enough, all of these hot features are packed into a 12.4mm thick phone, that will probably become a hit, just like its predecessor. Start looking for it in the shops of European carriers from May.
