Dolby’s involvement in the mobile phone biz is being felt as we speak, since LG used the company’s license on its new phone, GM200. This black candybar is a GSM device, that allows you to listen to FM radio, without plugging in the usual headset (used as external antenna).

On board of LG GM200, you’ll find stereo speakers and a technology that reminds me of Motorola’s CrystalTalk, since it regulates the earpiece volume, according to the ambient noise. The handset’s specs list includes average features like a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP or EDGE support.

When will we get to see a device with a design to match the Dolby sound quality?
