LG unveiled yet another high end phone today, one that seems related to the LG V20. It’s dubbed LG Isai Beat (LGV34) and it debuted via the carrier KDDI, packing high end specs like a Snapdragon 820 CPU.
This model runs Android 7.0 Nougat and feels like it’s a smaller version of the LG V20. It’ll be sold in Japan starting with the second half of next month and the design feels like a combo of the V20 and LG G5. Upfront we find a 5.2 inch WQHD display and other specs include 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 5 megapixel selfie camera and a dual 16 MP main shooter.
The main cam also brings laser focus and dual LED flash. LG Isai Beat includes a 3000 mAh battery and has top notch acoustics, thanks to the audio chip quad-DAC and Bang & Olufsen tech. We also get a secondary screen above the main one, borrowed from the LG V20. It’ll display notifications, the time and date, as well as widgets and media playback buttons.
Finally, this model is dust and water resilient, with IP6X/IX5/IPX7 certification. Sadly we don’t have a price, that will be revealed in November.
