The average Windows Phone isn’t good enough anymore, so they started branching out. One of the first niches covered is the luxury one, through the LG Jil Sander smartphone, a pairing between the South Korean company and the famous fashion designer.
Also known as the LG e906, this Windows Phone device looks very much like the Optimus 7, although it’s lighter and somehow larger. The handset packs the same 3.8 inch WVGA display of the Optimus 7, plus a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p video capture and a special hub for fashion news and previews of future collections.
Specifications tell us where this model will be launched, since the phone supports HSDPA 7.2 connectivity in the 900, 1900 and 2100 MHz bands, meant for Europe, not the US. The LG Jil Sander will be available with Mango OS and it’ll most likely sport a premium price, since it’s a fashion statement on its own.
