The folks of Briefmobile managed to score an image of the unannounced LG LS730, a handset also codenamed Snapshot, that you can see below. The handset will come in Q4 and it sports a push Home button, a square body and metal bands running along its edge. LG Snapshot has specs that may be considered on the lower end area nowadays.
The handset comes with a 5 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, a Qualcomm chipset, 4 GB of storage, a 1700 mAh battery and a VGA front camera. Its screen supports a 800 x 480 pixel resolution and the phone measures 8.8 mm in thickness. other features include Bluetooth and WiFi and the weight can’t be disclosed at the moment. Surprisingly, this model has 768 MB of RAM, an Adreno 205 GPU and if you want 4G, you’re out of luck, since they’ll be lacking on this model.
The CPU is a MSM8655 one (single core S2) and the LG LS730 is most likely Sprint material in the near future, although it could hint Virgin or Boost Mobile as well, at some point. Taking the specs into account, this sounds very much like an L Series unit from LG. It would fit a sub $200 price tag if you ask me…
