LG Optimus 2X, the very first dual core smartphone and LG Optimus Black, the first phone with a front 2MP camera have just surfaced on Amazon Germany, where they’re priced at EUR 499. Optimus 2X was already available for pre-order in the UK for days and it should be coming soon.
Reasons to get these smartphones are plenty, like the 4 inch screens, the dual core Tegra 2 CPU on the LG Optimus 2X or its support for 1080p video capture. Optimus Black is one of the thinnest handsets out there, with a 9.2mm waistline, but still not the skinniest phone (Sony Ericsson Arc owns this category with 8.7mm).
Keep in mind that LG Optimus 2X will also be branded Optimus Speed in some parts of the world and you’ll also be able to purchase it in a brown color option. For now you can’t buy these phones from Amazon Germany, but you can reserve them.
