Europeans will be happy to know that the LG Optimus 3D handset is coming their way, complete with a 3D glasses-free display and a dual 3D camera. The model has been delayed for a while and strangely enough it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo, but maybe we’ll receive an update soon after launch.

This model has competitors in the 3D phone segment, with models such as the HTC EVO 3D and Sharp SH-12C, but those aren’t ready for Europe yet. LG Optimus 3D was showcased back at Mobile World Congress 2011 and it comes with a 4.3 inch glassessless 3D LCD display with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution and inside there’s a 1GHz dual core CPU (TI OMAP4430).

512MB of dual channel RAM and a 1.3MP camera at the front complete the hardware, together with the two 5MP cameras at the back, capable of 3D 1080p 24fps video capture. Optimus 3D is able to reach 14.4Mbps speeds on a HSPA+ connection and it also comes with a HDMI port. This appealing unit is powered by a 1500mAh and before you jump on board with it, know that the price is still a mystery.
