As previously rumored, LG brought goodies at CES 2011, among them being a world premiere: the incredibly slim LG Optimus Black. The premiere is the fact that this is the first handset with a front 2 megapixel camera. The device runs Android 2.2 and you can learn more about it after the break.

Optimus Black is a 9.2mm thick smartphone with an impressive 4 inch NOVA display, that’s very bright (700nits). On top of Android, the handset runs Optimus UI 2.0, that supports commands through lifting, shaking and taping. On the inside, you’ll find a 1,500 mAh battery, enough for a full day of use of the device.

Weighing a mere 109g and ready for Android 2.3 Gingerbread ASAP, this unit will be made available globally in the first half of 2011.
