LG Optimus G is one of the most talked about smartphones of the moment, since it’s among the first to bring a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, after all. There’s an LG event next week, meant to unveil this new handset to the public and press, but till then we get the first commercial for the Optimus G, that was shown in Korea, the homeland of LG.
The ad is very short, less than 20 seconds and focuses on the ways this smartphone makes your life more entertaining. It’s focused on features like the camera and simply having fun with the phone. We’re dealing with a 4.7 inch smartphone, that will have to arrive on the market quickly if it wants to be a hit. LG already screwed up once this year, when they unveiled the first quad core phone in the world in February and only managed to launch it this summer. At this rate, if the LG Optimus G follows the same path, it would arrive in February, but I hope I’m wrong.
Anyway, you should know that this phone comes with 2 GB of RAM, a 4.7 inch IPS display with a 1280 x 768 pixel resolution, Android 4.0.4 and a 13 megapixel camera. An interesting thing to see in action would be the Adreno 320 GPU on this device, that should provide killer graphics for the latest game in the Google Play Store. We’ll have to wait and see…
